John Messina's 1969 XL Drag Bike.

The baddest Ironhead on the planet! IronheadCharlie(QCB forum) is having the privilage of racing this bike this season. We hadn't heard from him in a bit so we figured he Time traveled into the future! So manylittle details on this, look close at the pics. Good luck this season man!

    Did he ever race it? I did the machine work on this last engine. Looks funny seeing John with that helmet.

    I grew up john and his friend jim who owned warren custom plating and who raced with ot specialist drag bike. They were both a big part of my childhood.. sure wish things stayed the same as then.

    I used to roller start john in the early 90s. Im restoring the warren custom plating top fuel bike so if anyone has any pictures or stories please contact me

    I have that roller now and a few pics of the Warren Plating bike when OT owned it. John copied my Boris Murray frame on my high gear alcohol bike while at work for Logghe Stamping in their funny car and dragster shop. Our bikes are sisters.
